Our own site, devmarde.com: where it stood, what changed, where it is now

Site: devmarde.com, our own. Updated: 18 October 2026. Next update: first week of every month, starting 2 November 2026.

The short version. The domain was registered on 13 September 2026, so before that date devmarde.com did not exist. Five weeks later Google shows it for 217 search queries and it has earned about 11 clicks. Speed is below where we want it (mobile Lighthouse performance 58), and no AI assistant is known to name us yet, which we have not measured. This page records the starting point, what we changed and what moved, so you can judge the method before you buy it.

Before 13 September 2026

The domain was registered on 13 September 2026 (RDAP record, 19:22 UTC). DevMarDe as a name started around September 2026. Before that the same company traded as Designn Space. DevMarDe is a trading name of Designn Space Ltd, incorporated on 27 July 2022 (Companies House, number 14258316).

One thing to be exact about: the site's code repository has its first commit on 22 July 2026, about seven weeks before the domain existed. That first commit holds the Crawl Audit checker pages and API routes, and a larger redesign burst followed on 27 August. The repository does not record which address that work was served from, so we claim no measurement for any date before 13 September.

Where it stands on 18 October 2026

Marketing: Google Search Console

14 September1014.0
21 September62145.9
28 September865245.2
5 October1,520341.2
12 October (data to 15 October)656431.6

Across 16 September to 15 October: 3,113 impressions, 11 clicks, an average position of 40.3, 137 pages with at least one impression and 217 queries. The most-seen page is the AI search optimization guide, shown mostly at about position 47 for its main query, so page one is not within reach yet for that term. The founder page and the home page rank in the top ten for the names they carry.

Pages in Google's index on 18 October: 207 indexed and 203 not indexed. Of the 203, 189 are excluded by a noindex tag we set on purpose, because they are templated pages (check explainers, comparison and city pages) that we release in batches, only if earlier ones earn impressions. The rest are 3 redirects, 2 crawled but not indexed, 5 discovered but not indexed, 3 where Google chose a different canonical and 1 duplicate.

How to repeat it: in Search Console open Performance for the dates above, and Pages for the indexed and not-indexed counts.

Development: speed and accessibility

Local Lighthouse 13.5.0 on the live home page, 18 October 2026.

RunPerformanceAccessibilityBest practicesSEOLCPCLSBlocking time
Mobile5894731003.8 s01,530 ms
Desktop6194731001.9 s0460 ms

This was the weakest part of the site, and the numbers above are the "before" for a fix. A local mobile run on 12 October, before the 13 October design work, scored 87, so that work lowered speed. The main cause we found was the moving card borders: they animate a CSS property that the browser cannot run off the main thread, and they ran on every card at once. On 18 October we changed them to run only on cards near the screen, and moved Google Analytics and Clarity to load after the page is idle. The look on screen is unchanged.

Home page, local Lighthouse, 18 October 2026PerformanceLCPBlocking time
Mobile, before the fix583.8 s1,530 ms
Mobile, after the fix593.4 s1,990 ms
Desktop, before the fix611.9 s460 ms
Desktop, after the fix961.0 s80 ms

Desktop recovered. Mobile did not: it is still held back by the cost of starting the page (loading and running the framework code for a long home page, about one second of script time on a throttled phone) and by Google Analytics, which still runs about 0.6 seconds of script. We will work on those next and add the result here. Lab scores are not the field data Google collects from real visitors, and we do not have enough real visitors for that report yet.

How to repeat it: run npx lighthouse https://devmarde.com --only-categories=performance,accessibility,best-practices,seo or paste the address into PageSpeed Insights. Numbers move a few points between runs.

Development: what a crawler gets

  • The home page answers HTTP 200 to 11 of 11 AI and search crawler names tested on 18 October (372,809 bytes each).
  • robots.txt names 19 crawlers plus the default group, all allowed. The sitemap lists 63 URLs. llms.txt returns 200.
  • The home page carries 9 structured-data nodes: Organization, WebSite, three Person, WebPage, BreadcrumbList, Article and FAQPage.

The full log with commands is on How we measure.

Design

One design now covers every page: navy background, one card style, and Poppins infographics on the guides. A tool cannot score this, so we put no number on it. The check we do run is the Lighthouse accessibility score above (94), where we still have fixes to make.

What we have not measured

  • Whether AI assistants name DevMarDe in their answers. We have not run a baseline, so we claim nothing in either direction.
  • Leads from AI answers. Lead tracking started on 17 October 2026, so there is no number to show.
  • Our own Crawl Audit score. The free check deliberately shows a lowered score, and our run on 15 October (199 checks) found 4 failing and 23 warnings, and we do not publish the score yet. We will publish the result with its date once the scoring method page is live.
  • Real-visitor speed (field data). Not enough traffic yet.

The weak numbers, plainly

About 11 clicks and a little over 3,000 impressions in the first month is small. It is a new domain with no links pointing at it yet. We publish it because a company that advises on being found should show its own results before asking for yours.

The monthly refresh

  1. First week of each month, pull Search Console for the previous full month and add a row to the table above.
  2. Run Lighthouse on the home page, one service page and one guide, mobile and desktop.
  3. Re-run the crawler test, and count robots.txt groups, sitemap URLs and structured-data nodes.
  4. Run Crawl Audit on devmarde.com and record the result with the date.
  5. Change the date at the top and add what we changed in design, development and marketing that month. Old rows stay as they were.
